Tuition Remission
Tuition Remission is a voluntary benefit offered to University employees. Visit Benefits and review UAP 3700 ("Education Benefits") for complete information.
- The Tuition Remission form is available on the Benefits page.
- The Tuition remission form for a spouse or domestic partner of an eligible employee must be completed by the employee.
- Per Section 3.4 of UAP 3700, forms will not be accepted in the Bursar's Office after the registration deadline date for the applicable term or course without prior approval from Human Resources.
- Also per Section 3.4, Tuition Remission does not cover late fees, which will be incurred if an employee registers on or after the first day of the semester.
Submission of a Tuition Remission form does not admit an employee to UNM nor does it register them into their desired course(s). Employees must first be admitted to UNM, which may take two weeks or longer, then they must register themselves for the desired course(s) via LoboWeb.
